Very disappointing, considering the somewhat promising title, but alas, no secrets or juicy tips here, just the very basics. And it's poorly written and badly edited (if that) to boot! Even if it is edited, at most it'll get one extra rating star - the info is that much of a let-down. Don't waste your time or money.Product details

Pushing your Book to First Place by Ron Mahon is an excellent guide loaded with tips and tricks to move your book up in the ranks FAST! He shows us it's a collaborative effort to get your book to the top that requires continuous research, awareness and an open mind to always try new things. I particularly like his comments on reviews. Any comments positive or negative should be CONSTRUCTIVE. It's sad that people look to bash and trash on a whim rather than make their negative thoughts useful. I have a few words for those people but "Manners School" taught me not to use them! Lol- excellent job Mahon!)
I would recommend this to anyone who is writing their first book, or is having problems promoting published books.
I will certainly use this book as a reference going forward.
Let me start off by saying that currently, I don't have any books on ...but I HAVE "moonlighted" as a book publicist for a couple of authors (not this one, however). Yes, some of this information is basic, and I agree the title promised more than the book delivered, but I think two stars was undeserved. I also dont agree the book was "poorly edited." A poorly edited book is difficult to read and comprehend. That is NOT the case with this book! I did gain some new understanding about promoting books on . I definitely think this is worth the small price and the time it takes to read, ESPECIALLY for a new/first time author. Promoting a book takes work...this book helps you get started.
